Well done on passing your part 1 and part 2 DSA examinations.
At last you are on your way to become a professional driving instructor.
Now you are ready to make the next step; choose a driving school that gets you on the road to earn some money, get experience and maybe more training before your Part 3 examination.
Here are a few of the questions you need to ask:
- Can I operate successfully as a professional independent business?
- Can I have a solid career path that I can grow business with?
- Can I have better tools of business support that enable me to compete?
- Can I have the right guidance that enables me to obtain my Green ADI Licence?
Not all driving schools are the same and unfortunately there is no set standard to rely on.
So this is where it can get tricky and you need to choose wisely. After all you have invested considerable time and money to make the grade. So do not waste it.
The fact is you will be offered cheap franchises. You will be told that you can go it alone. You will be encouraged to just get through the exam. You will be advised to get cheaper cars. Our advice is to really question these ideas or you will be taking all the risks.
As with any other business, you must measure the risk.
