LEARN TO DRIVE WITH MOTIVATOR'S GEARS PROGRAM
At Motivator we have devised a system to deliver learner driver training to a variety of levels from pre-driver to qualified drivers looking to take advantage of insurance discounts through Pass Plus schemes.
- GEAR 1
- Designed to prepare students who wish to learn to drive in a safer and more efficient manner, using Motivator’s specific coaching methods. It also enables parents and pupils to have an insight into what ‘Learning to Drive’ means today, what the requirements are, what to expect on the road and importantly what responsibilities drivers have.

PLUS: The ‘I thought I knew how to drive’ course
A short coaching course designed to avoid confusion and conflict. A guide for parents and guardians who are looking to provide additional driving opportunities and support for their children to supplement the coaching Motivator provides. NB: This course is not recognised as ‘Instructor Training’ and on no account should this course be construed as a substitute for Motivators DSA approved instructor coaching courses. - GEAR 2
- Desgned to enable a pupil to progress more quickly it prepares them before they take 'on the road' instrution and therefore in principle shortens the time they need in driving school allowing more focus on safety procedures. The national average for a learner driver is between 45-55 hours of professional instruction plus 22 hours with a parent or guardian. The Motivator GEAR 2 scheame should help to reduce this time and save up to £300 in lesson fees alone.

- GEAR 3
- You TEST DRIVE Motivator Have an introduction to driving on the road with us to see how you get on. This is your opportunity to see us perform and our opportunity to assess how many lessons you might need, talk about what you need to do and of course your test. . Gear 3 is normally a 4 hour booking at the standard rate.

- GEAR 4
PRE-PAY FREEDOM
- This is an easy payment scheme designed to lower the cost of driving tuition fees by reducing the standard hourly rate.
- PRE-PAY FREEDOM. A common sense, approach to paying for your lessons as you might expect to have at least 40 hours worth. Block book and its hassle free as you take your lessons when you can and don’t have to think about the money.

- GEAR 5
- PASS PLUS After you pass your test you qualify to participate in a national scheme that takes you beyond the normal test criteria. PASS PLUS prepares you for motorway and night driving and a number of other very useful driving experiences especially useful if you require a bit more confidence. Pass plus is not mandatory but it can reduce the cost of your insurance and be useful for some careers.
